Bukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman Complimentary Tea Stall Review

FLASHBACK TO PUNJAB WITH BUKHARA

Staying true to my Punjabi roots, Spicy, flavorful Indian cuisine always tops my favorites chart any day. Earlier this year, I attended Kempinski’s delightful Friday Garden Brunch and got a glimpse of the authentic taste of North India and Hyderabad at the live station headed by  Bukhara. The first encounter with this beauty was back in 2004 and till date this award winning exotic restaurant never fails to impress me.

Bukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman Review by Food BloggerBukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman Complimentary Tea Stall ReviewWith cozy low lightings, dark interiors exhibiting the North India’s exquisite artifacts & mystical architecture, Bukhara does remind you of Traditional High Punjabi Dhaba’s which are known for their finger linking food.

Bukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman Tropical Drinks Pina Colada & strawberry mocktail ReviewFor drinks, we ordered the perfect summer drinks. The tropical revitalizing Pina Colada and Strawberry Mocktail were an ideal way to start off the Spicy Indian delicacy.

Bukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman Fish Tikka ReviewFor appetisers, we selected Mahashir Tikka – charcoal roasted fresh Hamur Fish Marinated in Chili Yoghurt & Garam Masala. The fish so juicy & cooked to perfection, incredibly soft & flavoured with exotic Indian spices; it was a treat to my taste buds.

Bukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman ReviewAnother dish we selected was my childhood favourite, Murg Malai Kababs. Hands down, a kid’s friendly chicken dish, flavoured with medium amount of spices & served with Mint Chutney.

Bukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman Baby Lamp Chops ReviewFor the mains, we got their Gosht Anjeeri Mahitawa Champs – Baby lamp chops marinated in Fig Juice, Ginger-Garlic & yoghurt, served with pickled caramelised onions.

Bukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman Malkani ReviewBukhara’s adaptation of Butter Chicken led to the invention of Makhani, flavored with Kasoori Methi & fresh cottage cheese.

Staying true to my Punjabi roots, Spicy, flavorful Indian cuisine always tops my favorites chart any day. But more than that it's the divine Indian desserts especially the creamy Rasmali which you will love in #BukharaAjman at @kempinskihotelajman !! Bukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman Rasmalai ReviewLastly, we got our hands on their deliciously sweet Rasmalai. The miniature poached dumplings made of fresh cottage cheese melt in the mouth with juicy cream in every bite.

Bukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman ReviewBukhara Restaurant Kempinksi hotel Ajman Complimentary Tea Stall ReviewAn exciting part of the Restaurant was it’s TEA stall which had such a gorgeous range of flavors and Pan Chocolates which was absolutely divine – I ended up taking a handful back home.

The service at Bukhara might be a tad bit slow, as it often jam-packed at evenings, but the attendants do take care of you to the fullest. A special mention to their Head Chef, who came to meet us & offer his special Ginger tea when he got to know, my mum didn’t feel so well & voluntarily packed the main course as take away.
